About the Artwork
“Sun on Skin” is a fine art nude photography print that captures the interaction between natural light and the human body. This work is part of a carefully selected series that was not released immediately. Some images require time and the right kind of attention before they are ready to be shared.
This series represents a continuation of my artistic expression rather than a spontaneous release. Each image was selected over time and guided by feeling. The focus is not on standard beauty, but on presence, authenticity, and a deeper connection between the subject and the moment.
When I choose models for my aesthetic nude photography, I do not look at conventional body types. I am inspired by women who are connected to themselves, their bodies, and the present moment. Through my work, I explore physical freedom, self-awareness, and the idea that a woman can exist in her body without explanation.
The Story Behind the Image
This photograph was created during a shoot with Mercedes. It was our first meeting, and there was an immediate sense of connection. I could feel her confidence, calm presence, and natural energy. This connection allowed the image to feel effortless and real.
The series was photographed in my studio using natural daylight. The light plays a central role in shaping the image. It is not just illumination, but part of the atmosphere. The sunlight creates warmth, softness, and a sense of movement, while the air and subtle motion bring the image to life.
I kept this series unpublished for a long time. It needed distance and reflection. From the full set, I selected only a few images for limited edition prints, and “Sun on Skin” is the one where everything came together.
Meaning and Visual Language
The image focuses on warmth, rhythm, and simplicity. The body is not presented as an object, but as a natural form shaped by light. The composition is minimal, allowing the viewer to focus on texture, tone, and feeling.
